CANTATE RHYTHM offers a unique approach to music making based on the use of percussion alongside other contemporary forms of instrumentation. Run by experienced percussionists with the emphasis on fun music making and performance skills. We run at least two different groups to cater for varying ages and abilities but this can change due to numbers and abilities involved. Membership is subject to an assessment with the director, Chris Kimber to determine which group would be most suitable. At least a Grade 1 standard is required on either the drum kit, percussion, guitar or keyboard/piano and music reading is an advantage, especially for the advanced group.
